Great location if you leave from Airport Terminal 2, very expensive by taxi to get to from Terminal 1 (costs more than the price of one night in a dorm). Friendly staff.

Stayed 2 nights. located 10 mins. by foot from the Int'l airport. About 20 min. by bus to town. Good big kitchen. Good double bed. Nice garden, living area and veranda and caring staff. All together the best choice for the short stay if you need to have the airport at hand and. Would stay there again.

Directions
1) From Terminal 2 Airport (Air Asia)
Upon arrival at Terminal 2 airport (Air Asia Terminal), exit the airport and make your way towards the traffic lights at the end of the road (3 min) and turn left heading to Tanjung Aru beach. 2 min down the road, before reaching the round about at the end, you should see a sign board (Borneo Beachouse Backpackers) on your right hand side of the road and it is the first house on the left. All this should take 5 min if you are walking from the airport but if you have a lot of luggage, the taxi would cost RM15.00 7am-12am and RM23.00 12am -7am (taxi prices double after 12am).
2) From Terminal 1 International Airport (Malaysian Airlines)
Upon arriving at Terminal 1 International Airport, go to the taxi counter and request for a taxi to Borneo Beachouse Backpackers, it should cost RM20.00 7am-12am and RM35.00 from 12am-7am (taxi prices double after 12am).
5 minutes walking distance form our local airport terminal 2. We are situated in the south city of Kota Kinabalu with buses plying to and forth.
We are within walking distance to Offices, Food Outlets, Shopping Malls, Entertainment Outlets and Jetty to Tunku Abdul Rahman Park Islands from (Tanjung Aru Resort Jetty). We are the only Beach House closest to Tanjung Aru Beach within a stone throw away.
