Survivor Island at Pulau Tiga, Sabah, Malaysia, is the site of the 1st Survivor Reality TV Series produced by CBS TV, USA in 2000.

We are situated in this rustic, nature-based tourism island resort, famous for its unique mud volcano body therapy and snake island features, just two hours drive away from the nearest modern city, Kota Kinabalu.

Currently available is 1 long house hostel that includes 6-10 sharing dorm rooms of 7 rooms with choice of airconditioning and no airconditioning with attached bathroom per room; three units single chalet for maximum 4 persons per chalet with air-conditioning provided. Camping equipment and facilities package are also available! We offer you clean and cheap accommodation, perfect for your backpacker budget! We also have a cafeteria, a barbecue pit, beach games and karaoke. Price includes 3 main meals daily & return boat transfer to the island. Fishing, boating, jungle trekking and snorkelling can also be arranged! Must visit destination for bird watching enthusiasts!

Directions

Land and sea transport can be arranged by the resort operator.

We are easily accessible to the more independent and adventurous travellers by bus, taxi or hired car, or by train from Kota Kinabalu to the nearest town, Beaufort.

Then hop on to the bus for 45 minutes to the Kuala Penyu town jetty and take a 30 minute boat ride to Pulau Tiga.
