Anjung KL Guesthouse 2 is located in a charming 2 storey traditional Asian shophouse building right in the heart of Bukit Bintang. We have renovated it and transformed it into a comfortable, quiet and stylish guesthouse. Wireless internet access in the lobby is offered to our guests at no extra charge.
You will feel yourself staying in a peaceful and tranquil environment, yet surrounded by the lively business, entertainment and shopping centres. The street next to us is Jalan Alor, serves some of the best hawker food in Kuala Lumpur.
Puduraya Bus Station (the main bus station) in KL and train stations connecting to the city and airport are only a 10 minute walk from us.

Airport Shuttle
We can arrange airport shuttle to our guesthouse.
1 person @ RM 60 per person per way
2 - 7 persons @ RM 35 per person per way
8 persons and above @ RM 25 per person per way
The shuttle is based on seats availability basis and shuttle timings with 1 luggage per person. Additional luggage depends on space availability. Surcharge of RM 25 per person per way applies for service from 2300 to 0600 hours.

Van and minibus airport transfers, half day and full day rental can also be pre-arranged. For airport transfers by van or minibus, this comes with meet and greet service by an English-speaking driver. Midnight surcharge applies for pick ups from 11pm to 6 am at 50% extra.

Notified them that I was arriving earlier because I had different plane, and papers were ready for me, after paying the amount due + 30RM warranty and 10RM for locker I was shown my room, I stayed in a dorm which was clean, had a window (just for bit of daylight, no view) and had airconditioning, airconditioning makes constant noise but it's not to loud.
There are 2shower + toilet combination and one normal toilet on the 1ste floor, don't like the combo myself but it's asian so ... one day I noticed there was quite a lot of hair in the raster in the floor, but when I came back later it was gone, very good cleaning.
Breakfast is rather plain but sufficient: "toaster-bread", and choice of peanut butter/jam (strawberry)/butter. Tea and coffee available all day.
Officially between 8-10:30 but when we arrived late one day because of trying to get to petronas towers, (closed on monday)and deciding to go to KL tower and arriving half an hour late, we still got breakfast.
Location is a bit less because of distance to nicer areas but there're supermarkets nearby. Prepare to say no to guys offering prostitutes/girls/massages when going trough "meat district" (can be avoided but small detour)
overall I can recommend it to anyone, and I must say the instructions "how to get there" are really good:
1 point: the monorail is dirt cheap (1.6RM), but it's Full during certain hours, so instead of "unique view" you get "squished view"

Anjung KL 2 Guesthouse is just a 1-minute walk from Corona Inn in downtown Kuala Lumpur (Bukit Bintang / Golden Triangle). The name of the street is Jalan Tengkat Tong Shin. The name of the area is : Bukit Bintang.
Directions from Puduraya Bus Station
1) Taxi (only if you have many luggages)
Cross over to Katari Hotel and get your taxi from there. It is cheaper. Give the taxi driver the address and tell him it is very close to the Corona Inn Hotel. Cost not more than MYR 3.00.
2) From Puduraya Bus Station (only 10 mins walk)
From Puduraya bus station take the pedestrian bridge to get on the other side of the street where Katari Hotel is located. If you are now right in front of Katari Hotel facing their entrance, walk towards the right along Jalan Pudu (Pudu Street), pass a Shell petrol station next to it, some shops, Tong Shin Hospital and then Alliance Bank. If you are facing Alliance Bank now, walk into the side lane on its right, you will come to a 'Star Car Wash sign', keep walking straight ahead and you will come to a street eatery on your left. Turn left and walk towards Corona Inn. When Corona Inn is on your left turn right and keep walking you will see a beef noodle stall on your left. We are located at the 2nd house on the left after this beef noodle stall. We are on the left side of Muar Restaurant if you face the restaurant.
From KLIA or LCCT Airport by:
1) Taxi (most convenient way to arrive) :
Give the taxi driver the address and tell him it is very close to the Corona Inn Hotel. Cost RM60-70 during normal hours. Midnight surcharge will apply for midnight or very early morning arrivals.
2) Airport Coach/Bus (cheapest way to arrive) :
From the arrival hall, take the lift to Level 1. Walk towards Gate 2 and cross the road to the bus terminal building to buy the bus ticket to KL Sentral Station. Bus ticket costs RM 10 per person. Once you get to the KL Sentral Station in Kuala Lumpur, buy a taxi coupon (RM10.00 approx) and give the taxi driver the address and tell him it is very close to Corona Inn. Ask for the meter if they give you a higher rate.
From KLIA : 1st bus at 6.30 am and last bus at 12.30 am
3) KLIA Express Train 'ERL Train' (fastest way to arrive) :
The fast train takes 28 minutes to the city railway station (KL Sentral Station) costing RM35.00 per person. There is one every 20 minutes. Once you get to the KL Sentral Station, buy a taxi coupon (RM10.00 approx) and give the taxi driver the address and tell him it is very close to the Corona Inn Hotel. The first train is at 5.00 am and the last train departs at midnight.
From LCC Terminal (LCCT)
Air Asia and Cebu Pacific Airline are the current low cost airlines landing at this new terminal. Board the Skybus for RM 9.00 per way or Aerobus RM 6 per way and drop off at KL Sentral Station. Then take a taxi direct to our place (taxi fare RM 10.00 approximate). Frequency of the Skybus is 30 mins-1hr. Operation hours : 7.00 am to 1.15 am daily. Journey is 1 hr 15 mins. (www.skybus.com.my)
From KL Sentral Train Station
1) Taxi
Buy a taxi coupon (RM10.00 approx) and give the taxi driver the address and tell him it is very close to the Corona Inn Hotel. The first train is at 5.00 am and the last train departs at midnight.
2) Monorail (only recommended if you travel light)
Only recommended if you travel light because you have to walk a bit but the scenic experience on the monorail makes up for it. The monorail station at KL Sentral Station is located across the road from KL Sentral.
Buy a ticket to 'Imbi Station' (RM 1.60).
Upon arriving at Imbi Station, use the side lane of Melia Hotel and walk to the back of the hotel towards Low Yat Plaza and you will enter through the backdoor of Low Yat. Go thru Low Yat Plaza and come out through the main entrance then walk towards Federal Hotel. Cross the road in front of Federal Hotel and ask for directions to Nova Hotel at Alor Street. When facing Nova Hotel, walk towards your left you will come to a 'T junction', turn right and walk straight until you come to Corona Inn on your left. Then turn right and you will come to a beef noodle stall on your left. We are the 2nd house on your left after the beef noodle stall. We are on the left side of Muar Restaurant if you face the restaurant. Monorail operating hours: 6.30am - midnight
