This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Its very cheap, and convieniently located in China town, close to all sights, puduraya bus terminal and kl sentral. but even for south east asian - budget standards it was very dirty and moldy, toilet flushings were not working properly. also the roof top area is only accessiible when the night bar or breakfast bar is open, so you cant bring your own drinks.
breakfast was very good and at a very reasonable price.
the most thing i didnt like was the missleading information about another hostel, where the manager is been accussed for offensive behaviour, alcoholism and sexual harrasment. this info is not true or better said not up to date, as the manager of the accused hostel has changed more than a year ago.
I stayed actually at this hostel and there it was awesome.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

This place was not the best. It's really cheap, but not very clean. There were strange odors and I wore shoes around the place worried I would get a foot fungus. If you're on a tight budget, then I'd say stay here. Otherwise, there are plenty of other decent hostels and guesthouses around town.

DO NOT STAY HERE! the hostel itself is quite nice, but there is an absolutely mental guy staying on the 3rd floor, and he is completely insane. im presuming he has schizophrenia or something and has forgotten to bring his medication to asia with him and has lost the plot. the first night we stayed he woke us up screaming like he was being murdered or something, and then last night he was talking in what sounded like demonic tongues in his room all by himself. it was super scary, and i was so freaked out i couldn't sleep all night. we told the staff, but the guy has paid for 1 month in advance, so they don't wana kick him out coz they'll lose their money. other ppl have told us he tried to come into their rooms at night too. anyway, bottom line is it's not worth the hassle staying here, it will ruin ur holiday.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

I had a double room, which was small; but that was OK considering this was one of the cheapest air-con double rooms in KL. Premises were spartan but clean and well-kept. Location is good especially for bus travellers - the hotel is within easy walking distance from Puduraya bus station and Plaza Rakyat LRT.
