About Kancil Guesthouse

Kancil Guesthouse is a traditional Chinese dwelling, similar to a Chinese Ancestral home, but it also has a unique Malaccan Chinese touch.

It is a home away from home with an established reputation of being the cleanest guesthouse in Melaka. The guesthouse is extremely spacious and a very comfortable place to put down your backpack and relax in our garden for a few days. It is a popular place for travellers who like to enjoy the quietness and cleanliness and will feel more at home than at the busy and noisy commercial hotels. Give us a try and it will be a most memorable and pleasant stay. Because we care we make every guest feel at home.

We are located just next to Taman Melaka Raya, 'the noisy and busy commercial district' and also within walking distance to all food centers and historical places.

We served BREAKFAST: There is also a library (books exchange)and games room and we provide tourist information for all around Malaysia. Internet service .(upon arrival check your e-mail with 15 mins free service).

Take Town bus no.17 just only RM1.00 to the local bus terminal opposite Express Bus terminal. It's RM15.00 by Taxi from the bus station.

WARNING: Alight 2 bustop after Equatorial Hotel and stop to at the Chinese temple and walk 50 meters back. ( DO NOT ALIGHT AT THE CHRIST CHURCH [RED BUILDING] OR AT THE EQUITORIAL HOTEL.)


Important note: ignore the 'hustler or touters' at the Express Bus Terminal.
