Scuba Junkie is situated in the Semporna seafront area it is a big blue building looking over the sea. All rooms come with aircon, Satellite TV, DVDs, hot showers FREE Internet and FREE English Breakfast!

We also provide Internet, Laundry and Airport pick up services. The Backpackers also has a Western style restaurant, a PUB and Beer Garden.

We also provide Scuba Diving trips to Sipadan, Mabul and Kapalai plus all PADI dive courses. Scuba Junkie is also a PADI dive resort.

The Backpackers will also have a swimming pool by March 2007. All our staff speak English, Swedish, German and Malay. This is THE place to stay while in Semporna. We also have cheap accommodation in Mabul Island.

Directions

Fly from KK to Tawau with Malaysia airlines
Fly from KL to Tawau with airasia.com RM100
Bus from KK to Semporna direct (RM45-8 hours-leaves at 730am and pm twice daily)
Bus from Sandakan (leaves 730am everyday costs RM25) arrives Semporna at 2pm
Once in Semporna walk to the seafront (you have to pass the mosque and the fish market first) then you will see a brand new Blue Building with 'Scuba Junkie' on it! Walking time is approx 4 mins (with backpacks on!)
