Balco Harmony Hostel, Sliema, Malta

The landlord is very nice. The rooms are small and mine was situated just under the roof: very hot during summer! The air conditionning was either not working properly or simply not there... Cleanliness is just ok for bathrooms, but the kitchens look good.

Balco Harmony is part of balcomalta which is a family run, first class rated Hostel with the lowest prices available. We are situated just minutes away from the language schools in Sliema - Malta's no. 1 tourist area and shopping center. Within a couple of minutes walking distance you will find the University Of Malta, shopping arcades, exchange bureaus, supermarkets, bars and internet cafes.

Each dorm have a maximum of 4 beds with its own private facilities.

Single private rooms are situated in annex ,a few metres from Harmony. All rooms have same facilities as Harmony .

As we do not have a 24 hour reception please e-mail us your arrival time and flight number upon confirmation. If you arrive after 20:00hrs, our transport service is compulsory at a charge of 12euros one way or 20euros with airport return

All rooms are approx 20 square metres in size and come with private toilet, shower and wash hand basin, reading lights over the beds, desk with nest of drawers and surge protection for electronics used on desk.

All rooms have balconies, some of which have distant sea views. The top floor room has a terrace and a lovely sea view of the grand harbour and mega yacht marina. Standard room facilities include, safety deposit box, 90ltr fridge and satellite television at no extra cost and ceiling fans. All our in-house guests can make use of our fully equipped kitchen including all kitchenware, and enjoy their own cooking, in our dinning room, which also serves as a T.V room with DVD player at no extra cost.

Towels are changed twice a week and room cleaning, including linen changes, is carried out once a week. Towels and Linen is included. We don't have a curfew and make you feel at home away from home!

Our host visits the Hostel every day and all in house guests have a front door key. WIFI and laundry service is available at a minimal charge. We accept all major credit cards and currencies for payment.
