WINNERS BEST HOSTS in all of Mexico in 2006 AND 2005! Simply put: you're not going to find a better hostel in Guadalajara! We won BEST HOSTS in both 2005 and 2006!. People consistently tell us, 'I was just gonna stay 2 days, but I've just spent 5... this place is GREAT!!!'AND, in some months, especially low seasons, we're giving away a FREE night! Pay three nights and get one FREE!
When you arrive, you are greeted by staff and introduced to all the activities that we'll be doing in the next few days together, including the coolest and cheapest tour ever to Tequila, and special events in the local clubs (where we get exclusive discounts and where you can meet the all the cool musicians that we know) as well as many gallery openings (that insiders tell us about!).
You're then introduced to the happy folks that have already spent a few days or weeks here and now know their way around. They then get you settled, often giving you what they're cooking and drinking (kitchen and beer for guests).
We're a FAMILY here, where it's important that everyone that seeks company, has it!
We're located in a beautiful building (in the national register of historic buildings) that is cleaned daily, in the heart of the colonial center, 2 blocks from all the wonderful old buildings.
We provide both free internet and a continental breakfast.
We've also got great weekly rates (US91, MX910) and monthly rates (US300, MX 3000) and often our longterm guests end up working a bit here and there!
A good time is assured here, see ya soon!!!

Because we're located RIGHT in the downtown (the only hostel located right in the heart of the city) it's super easy to find us. Our address is Maestranza #147, a block south of Juárez Avenue, 2 blocks east of 16 de Septiembre Avenue, the two streets that divide the city, the main intersection of the entire city. All the cab drivers know how to get here and many buses pass by just two blocks away.
We are 500 meters away from the 'Plaza Universidad' station of the Guadalajara subway, which goes across the city from north to south and three fourths of the city from west to east.
