The only bugs,were that I asked for a wake up 2 days in a row and did not get it,so I had to leave to late and had to wait for the bus of 10h30 am for my destination, as it seems one nighttime employee seems not to care at all about wake ups even though I asked him and reasked to check and told me it was written and would be ok.

All cultural and commercial activities of Merida take place near Nomadas Hostel:
You can find Paseo Montejo (Main Avenue) only 3 blocks away, where the Fiesta Mexicana is celebrated every Saturday evening. You can also find around here 'The Anthropology Museum'; Santa Lucia Park (2 blocks) where you can enjoy free Folklore Dances and serenades. Museums, bars, theatres, supermarkets, migration office, American Express and banks are just 3 or 4 blocks from the Hostel.
Continental breakfast is included and self-service. It is served from 7 am to 10 am.

If you wish to purchase Yucatecan hammocks, please read first our recommendations on the green notice boards on the hall to avoid being over charged. Do not pay more than 350 pesos!
Bus Tickets: If you wish to buy 1st class tickets, you can order them from the reception. The bus company (ADO) delivery fee is 12 pesos, independently of the number of tickets purchased. Nomadas Hostel does not charge for the phone call.
If you wish to purchase a flight ticket to Mexico City, Cuba, Canada, USA, Europe, Central and South America or any place in the world ask the front desk to contact our travel agency Nomadas Travel.
We also offer guided tours with transportation (hostel-ruins-hostel) included to Uxmal, Kabah and Chichen Itza from 245 pesos. and Cenotes Tours 375 PESOS.These low prices are exclusive for our guests.
For trips by yourself to Uxmal, Celestun, Chichen Itza, Progreso, Uaymitum, etc all information is in the front desk.
With relation to the Internet reservations, we remind the guest that any cancellation will have to be effected by a minimum of 24 hours of precedence to the hostel arrival. Nevertheless, after the guest arrival the cancellation of the posterior days of the reservation, it'll have a surcharge 100 % on the amount.

Every three days you may request a new set of clean sheets.

The only bugs,were that I asked for a wake up 2 days in a row and did not get it,so I had to leave to late and had to wait for the bus of 10h30 am for my destination, as it seems one nighttime employee seems not to care at all about wake ups even though I asked him and reasked to check and told me it was written and would be ok.The other thing ñI made a reservation for a private room with private bathroom ,which is not what a had ,I had shared bathrooms,They say maybe it is the brokers site fault that did the error.It is well located,good price for what it is.The owner is kindly and speak Spanish,English and perfectly French.The reception staff is in general super helpful and friendly too.At last ,I had an other deception,because when I made the reservation they refer me to their website,which was showing in picture and written that they have a pool,but the pool was not built yet when I was there,Although it showed a finished built pool on their website a month in a half before when I made my reservation.Watch out what you reserve is not only what you get!

From Bus Station / Desde la Terminal de Autobuses:
Taxi: Cost 3-4 USD.
Taxi 30-40 pesos.
New Service with TAXIMETER is more cheap around 30 pesos to the hostel. Walk one or 2 bloks and stop a taxi with taximeter
From Airport :
Bus: Outside the airport you can take a bus that comes to downtown every 30 minutes and will leave you 8 blocks away from Nomadas. Its name is 'Aviacion 69'.
Price: $.50 cents of dollar
Time of the trip: 35 minutes
Taxi: Walk 1 km and take a taximeter taxi per 5 usd dollar.
You can take a taxi from the airport and get directly to Nómadas.
Price: 15 $ USD
Time fo the trip: 20 minutes
