Our teacher starts you out from the first step of cooking by taking you to the market to teach you how to select your ingredients for your meal. She teaches you how to cook and prepare a full delicious meal on your own. You will learn how to make your own tortillas and salsa from scratch. You will even make an authentic Mexican beverage to go with the meal. The best part is eating what you have prepared! You will have made enough to share with your friends. Everyone who takes this class loves it, and are very excited about what they have learned. Contact us for prices or more information.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?
Hostal Pochon is small and pretty clean, but be ready for some inconveniences. Several times someone managed to lock the (multiperson) women's bathroom from the inside so there were no showers, toilets or even sinks available to women for extended periods of time. Additionally, breakfast doesn't start until 8:30, so if you are planning a trip out of town to any of the small towns, you're on your own. Finally, they tried to keep our key deposit by only having enormous bills on hand at check-out. We had to skip breakfast in order to get our deposit back, because we were left with bills too large to use at any of the breakfast stands around and we had to leave for our 5-hour bus at 8. I wouldn't stay again. On the upside, it is pretty clean.
