Location Information
We are a 5 min walk from Zocalo on Xicotencatl (the main street) 121, if you arrive by the first class bus, you just need catch a taxi and ask to the driver to bring you to our hostel just give him the address, Oaxaca is too small so every taxi driver know us it will cost to you around $35 - $40 pesos, if you arrive by the airport you have to do the same as well it will cost to you around $100 pesos

great pleace, good enviroment and nice people.
I booked this hostel through it's website. I chose it based on the good reviews and the fact that it had credit card facilities and a laundry room advertised on it's site.
I got here and firstly no credit card facilities - when I asked where the ATM the guy didn't know... Our bathroom had peoples hair on the floor and also hair in the bed - sheets were not changed.
When I went down to do my laundry I was told the machine was broken, by then I was annoyed so he called the manager to get him to explain to me that there was no laundry service.
When I asked the manager why the facilities on the website were not actually available I was told the hostel had moved and had new owners so the hostel website was no longer relevant - even though the website has the current address and contact details.
It seems that the new owners are using the reviews and information from the old mezkalito hostel to attract bookings and don't care that it is false advertising.
When I explained that a hostels website should truthfully display their facilities he told me " yes but that website is wrong"
We were not impressed.
