Really nice hostel, the best we stayed during our trip. They have clean beds and a kitchen available. Also the owners, who are the kindests persons in san cristobal, have a great collection of insects in the living room. There's only one detail, the internet (or the computer, i don't know) barely works.

Enjoy your vacation in a colonial building in the heart of the historical center of San Cristobal!
Located in the historical center of San Cristóbal, in a colonial and elegant house built in 1883, Hostel Las Palomas offers a warm, spacious and clean environment everyday.
Long, beautiful corridors as well as a spacious yard create a tranquil environment for relaxing. Take a salsa lesson or enjoy the international atmosphere around the camp fire.
Purified water, coffee and bread are included.
Our guests have full use of the kitchen, free access of internet, hot water 24 hrs/24, lockers. You can also use the TV room with the DVD player, play football or badminton in our patio, take salsa and spanish lessons and have a drink and meet people every night around our camp fire!
Furthermore, our warm and friendly staff is here to assist you and to provide you with tourist information. We can also arrange for you horseback riding tours to San Juan Chamula or a trip to Sumidero´s Canyon.
We offer dorms (14 beds), dorms with bathroom (6 beds) or private rooms (double bed). We also have a suite for 3 persons (1 single bed & 1 double bed) with a bathroom & a kitchen !!!.

Hostel Las Palomas is located just two and a half blocks from main square, at 47 Guadalupe Victoria Street. We are 5 minutes walking distance from the Zocalo, on the same side of the street as the Catedral Church and 10 minutes walking distance from the bus station.
