The Casa de Jose is not a place where one can rest peacefully. There are no restrictions regarding noise, so it can be a little disturbing. My first night, the night clerk decided to give advice regarding the running of the inn at 3:00 AM. On the 2nd night, other guests had the tv on at full volume with mexican northern music after midnight. I changed rooms to the ones on the back of the house and it was better. The kitchen has never had an in-depth cleaning.

We offer a friendly, fun and clean atmosphere, located in the historic center of the magic city of San Cristóbal. La Casa de Jose is a place where you will be treated as a member of the family. What makes us different is our great service with personal attention, helpful staff who are always trying to make your stay in San Cristóbal and La Casa de José unforgettable.

We have rooms with private bathrooms (wich the price will change depending on the number of persons staying in it, 4 max.) a single private room, a dorm with single beds and a room with bunk beds.

Our reasonable prices include coffee and bread in the morning, free use of the kitchen and purified water, TV in the common living room with a real fireplace, patio and terrace.

Remember at La Casa de José we wait for you with our door open, the best atmosphere, service and attention to your requests.

The kitchen has never had an in-depth cleaning. Dishes are basically dirty and the things I left in the refrigerator were stolen.

We are located on the historical center, in Josefa Ortíz de Domínguez 32 a. Between Pedro Moreno and Julio M. Corzo Streets. A 3 min walk from the bus station and from the zócalo. It´s a beautiful blue and white house.
