Budget Accommodation North America Mexico Taxco Bed & Breakfasts Hostal Joan Sebastian
The owner was very friendly, spoke good English and told us a brief history of the town. He also let us leave our backpacks there before we checked in and after we checked out. The room was nice and bright, bathroom just a few steps away and we could make use of the kitchen, including the fridge.

If you don't mind climbing some stairs to get to the centre, this is the place to stay.
I've been very disapointed...the kitchen was amaizingly dirty and when i asked the lendlord if somebody could clean it, he got very annoied. After I paid, he told me that there were works on the roof, so in conclusion it was impossible to sleep after 8 am and to rest in the afternoon. When I asked to pay less than the normal price because all services were not respected, he refused and insulted me. Bedrooms are close to the living room, so if somedy is watching TV o talking, you can hear everything like if it was in your room. And there is no hot water. So in short, for the same price, you can find definitely better.

Really nice staff, quiet and beautiful place to stay. Location is very good: a 3-minute walk to the main square, cathedral, and traditional market. José Antonio, the owner, will give you great touristic information and make you feel like home.
