About Dar Zineb
RIAD ZINEB is an historical house, belonging since centuries to a rich family, who was producing candles for the city.
Located in the antic heart of the Medina, she is close to Museum de Marrakech, and at a few minutes of the so famous piazza Jemaa el Fna, through the souks.
Recently to totally renovated, this riad has maintained its strong and imposing architecture.
Protecting a large patio, it reflects its shadow in the heated pool and the traditional fountain. On its top, you will discover impressing views on the mountains of Atlas and the minarets of the old city. Upstairs terraces are equipped for relaxing.
It is composed of 6 bedrooms with their individual bathroom, and large Moroccan salons.
Be sure that you stay here, will constitute a warm remembering for ever.

Riad Zineb feels like an oasis in the heart of the medina's busy souks! Although at the bottom of a darkish alley, we didn't feel unsafe or threatened. it's wise to remember that these dark lanes and alleys are the norm inside the medina, and with this in mind are really no more dangerous than the wide streets and roads we know in Western Europe. It's an interesting and colourful walk back from Jemaa el Fna through some fabulous souks.
A friendly, well run establishment. Staff are very helpful and answered our every whim. With breakfast served where you choose...be that in the Moroccan sun on the roof terrace, or poolside in the central courtyard. The rooms are each unique and decorated to a high standard in rich Moroccan style. We had a truly fantastic stay and would recommend this riad to anyone. I found out that Zineb means comforting in arabic and Riad Zineb is true to it's name.
