£18 a night. What do you really expect anyway?
The hotel arranged a taxi (100 Dirhams). it was 1 hour late because the taxi was double-booked and the second passenger's plane was behind schedule. When I arrived, I had to sit down for 45 minutes with the owner who offered me some tea (ok, it is a nice gesture) and went through all the things to know and to do in town. Just unnecessary. At one point I made it clear that I wanted to get my keys eventually and start my visit.
No soap in the room. No service eighter during the 5 day stay! Same towel, same sheets.
Over all, it is the right place to sleep if you are on the budget and do not really care about the hotel itself.

Had a great time here, staff and service great, a special thank you to Ali and Lachcen for their hospitality, met some really cool people. This beautiful riad is centrally located in the souks and easy to find. Rooftop terrace is great. 24hr internet access. Hot water!!!
Walk across Djemaa al'Fnaa to get there. Loads of eating and shopping places around. Easy to walk to places of interest.
Be sure to check out their desert trips before you get there, you might want to extend your stay just to spend time in the desert.
All the best to La Casa del Sol. From Shireen.

I really enjoyed staying in La Casa Del Sol. Since the first time I arrived the staff(Zohra, Ali,Lakshan, and the other girls) were so nice and friendly.I didn´t have so many informations about Marrakesh, the staff helped me to determine places to visit and gave the important informations. The room is big and clean. The WIFI are good. The location are quite near to Jamaa El Fna. The staff made this hostel not only as a place to stay but you will feel like in your own home. I hope that I can visit Marrakesh next time.

The whole team, Laksan, Ali and the girls all made me fee like one of the family. Truly exceptional hosts. Which is what you need in a place like Marrakesh, where your guesthouse needs to double up as a refuge from the madness outside!.
The location of the place was outstanding. Right in the heart of things. I did'nt need to get a taxi anywhere for the entire length of my stay.

friendly staff and nice bedrooms and the perfect location the only thing was that in rainy days the floor outside the bedrooms was wet. They work very hard to make you feel at home and actually if we come back to marrakech we will repeat the acomodation.

We recently hosted in this hostel for one night and we can say the owner and the staff were so helpfull with everything from the way of living the experienced of marrakech itself to trips to other places for tourism. Ali was so funny and happy that it contagious us with the marroquian spirit. The other staff were incredible. The rooms were good, beds pretty good, so we fully recommended it for long or short visits. In morocco they dont celebrate the cristhmas but we felt full of cristhmas spirit.

La Casa made my stay in Marrakesh. It is in a great location and the staff at the hostel were really fantastic. Lahcen and Ali were always ready with a pot of mint tea and they are very friendly and helpful. They will also help you book some day trips to go exploring so make sure you stay as long as possible and make the most of Marrakesh.
In the six weeks of travelling all over Morocco, this was the top of my list for places to stay, i had the best fun here.
Thanks to the whole team, keep up the good work. Lots of love Jennifer.
