La Casa made my stay in Marrakesh. It is in a great location and the staff at the hostel were really fantastic. Lahcen and Ali were always ready with a pot of mint tea and they are very friendly and helpful. They will also help you book some day trips to go exploring so make sure you stay as long as possible and make the most of Marrakesh.
In the six weeks of travelling all over Morocco, this was the top of my list for places to stay, i had the best fun here.... more

If you find yourself lost upon your arrival to Marrakech, just look at the locals with a lost face, you'll see that they will automatically point you towards the jemaa el-Fna square, without a doubt, the very centre of Marrakech. La Casa made my stay in Marrakesh. It is in a great location and the staff at the hostel were really fantastic. ..... what can i say.. if not that la casa del sol is just the place to be!!!
since the first moment you'll get inside they let you feel very confortable
from the little tourist information to arrange you a complete tour of the town en the neighborhood or the desert and more..
rooms are very nice and clean and functionally but i repeat above all
is this feeling to be in the family that makes your stay in la casa del sol
a great moment of your holyday...
to not to forget that its in the heart of mouassine (the oldest part of the cuge medina) 3 minutes walk to djemaa-el-fna square

All the workers were so friendly and kind, it seemed like they really wanted to help you get to know Morocco. The location was perfect, yes a little hard to find, but you can just ask all the locals near by in the market and they tell you where to go. It would have been nice to have breakfast, but there were lots of bread and fruit stands near by anyway. They were so great to keep my stuff when I went on a camel trek for a couple of days and then let me use stuff in the hostel after I got back even though I wasn't staying another night!! It was really a comfortable and safe place to stay.

Good location, very close to the Jemma el Fna Square and quite quiet. The rooms are nice and the riad itself very cosy. The service was good and the people of the riad were very friendly. You can leave everything in your room, the place is very safety. We had a good time in there. The only "problem" was the shower. The water suddenly turns cold or just stops pouring while you are having a shower. The other "negative" thing was that the walls are very thin and you can hear everything that happens in the room next door (even people snooring!) Anyway, that is just a small detail. Just remember to bring some cotton to put in your ears at night (also because there is a mosque really close!)
The overall impressions is good, specially bearing in mind that the price is quite cheap!

Being a middle aged female traveler adventuring on her own La Casa Del Sol was my home away from home. I was warmly welcomed given tips and directions on how to experience the best of Marrakesh. Mustafa was a wonderful host and the MOST perfect tour guide, I thank him for helping make my Marrakesh experience memorable. Wendy G
Friendly staff. Spoke English. Always smiled. Free Internet. Good view from the roof top. Clean. Would have been nice to have a window that faced outside as we only had windows that faced out towards the hall.
Not easy to find as the sign is flush against the wall and is at the end of a side alley. We got lost trying to get back to the place at least 3 times and the streets are a maze.
The owners of the hotel are very friendly contributing to the family-like atmosphere. The proximity of the hotel to the jema elfna square makes it easy to get a feel of the Marrakech atmosphere right away.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel!!!

Directions
Upon your arrival to Jamae el Fnae square; you look for the Argana Café.
On it's lift you have a small street; you take it stright; you go past the Fnac Bérbére.
The Riad is on your Right in Deb Tijani just before the mouassine Mosque.
