About Riad Anis
Riad Anis is situated in the heart of the Medina, 6-8 minutes walking distance from the Djemaa El Fna Square and quite close to the Souks and the monuments most frequented by the visitor.
Riad Anis has two double bedrooms and one double room with two single beds in it, all with private bathroom facilities.
There is a Patio on the ground floor with a sitting-room , dining-room and one double bedroom. There are also four separate trees with small gardens. The first floor contains the other two double bedrooms. There is also a terrace with two sunbeds and four relaxing chairs, all ideal for sunbathing.
The manager of riad Anis, Hamid, will do all to make your stay happy and comfortable , he speaks good english and frensh.

Extremely friendly, Hamid, has very knowledgeable of the city of Marraquexe and Morocco, recommends what is best to visit, and how to visit. Hamid is a good conversationalist, and makes us feel his friends from the first moment.
We will return!
Great located, the Riad Anis is an oasis in the middle of the city. the place is wonderful and comfortable. Everything went great. Hamid, the owner, was very kind with us, he told us what to do/see and give us a map, and teach us the way to the Riad from the central square. I'll come back soon!

I was very happy with my stay at Riad Anis. While the facilities are fairly basic, you can expect a clean, comfortable room in a traditional style riad. It really is an "oasis of calm" just a few steps from the chaos of the Marrakech souks. Hamid is a wonderful host and really helped to make my first stay in this city a great one. If you book here, you really should take advantage of his offer to meet you at the main square upon your arrival and escort you to the Riad. After he does this once, you should have no problem finding the place. To be honest, there is no way you will find it on your own.
My only constructive caveats would be that a) the place could use some comfortable seating; b) bring a flashlight if you intend to return to the Riad after dark. It is pitch black in the alleyways leading to the hotel; and c) it is a good walk from the taxi stand to the Riad if you arrive in the afternoon when the square is closed to auto traffic so consider that if you have a lot of luggage. Overall, very good stay made better by the great staff.

Someone told us that this was the best riad in Marrakech - they were right!
It's not the most luxurious riad in town, but it is very elegant, traditional, clean, and comfortable. The location is perfect being so close the Jemma El Fna - the main square. Just a 5 minute walk and you're out of the hussle and bussle and back in the peace and tranquility of Riad Anis. And there to greet you will be Hamid - the wonderfully warm and generous owner. He is a fantastic host and will advise you on all aspects of your stay in Marrakech. Enjoy!
