Budget Accommodation Africa Morocco Marrakech Bed & Breakfasts Riad Al Faras
We stayed 2 nights in the riad. It is close to the big square and therefore a good place to stay if you want to sleep in the medina! The people are really friedly as well. The last night of our stay in marocco we desided to book a hotel in de newer part of the city. This is more modern.
Riad Al Faras is a traditional Moroccan house, located in the Medina (old city) of Marrakech close to the Jemaa el Fna Square and the Souks (local market).
Each room at Riad Al Farras has its own bathroom and toilet, and there is a swimming pool and nice roof terrace where all guests may relax and unwind. Some guests may wish to enjoy their meals on the terrace.
The helpful staff at the guesthouse will be happy to organise a range of activities on your behalf such as cooking lessons and painting.
Airport transfers can be arranged if required. Prior notification is essential.

After we had been introduced in this weird world of Marrakesh en somehow managed to get rid of our car we entered this oasis in the middle of the jewish part of the medusa.
A place to get at rest, with lovely people who manage it. We were in the best of both worlds - within 2 minutes of wandering!
If we go there again we will book at the same riad - precious!

Beautiful Riad, only 2 minutes walk from the main square, although a little tricky to find the first time. Lovely comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Small swimming pool was great after a hot day. Credit card machine wasn't working when we visited, so best to check this before you need to pay. The acoustics in the courtyard mean it can be a bit noisy sometimes, so earplugs might be a good idea.
