Music is the thing in The BackStage Hotel Amsterdam. A new design concept on a great location in the city centre next to the venues Paradiso, Melkweg, Sugar Factory etc.. You'll feel like a star when playing your own music on the I-pod docking station, while sitting on your drum kit seat and the spot light is on YOU! When you are outside the hotel all main stages are just a few steps away. As are the restaurants, bars, clubs and museums. Our full licensed bar is has a pool table and a free internet terminal. Free Wifi is complementary in all rooms and whole hotel is NON SMOKING!

Please be aware that the stairs are steep and unfortunatelly we do not have an elavator.

To get to our hotel you can take the train from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport which leaves from platform number 3. One way ticket cost Euro 2,70 Please take care off your luggage when travelling by train.

Within 20 minutes you´re at the Central Station.

In front of the Central Station trams are leaving. You have to take tram number 1;2 or 5 and go out at the 7th stop (het leidseplein).

Tickets can be bought inside the tram (Euro 1,60). If you are planning to travel more than twice by tram it´s cheaper to buy a travel card at the airport/central station or in a bookshop. The driver then puts a stamp on the card every time you travel.

When you got out of the tram you´re standing infront of the theatre.

Pass the theatre at the left side and enter the Marnixstraat. After 100 metres just across the bridge you see BackStage Hotel at your right hand side.

You can also take the Interliner bus No. 370 at Schiphol Plaza (Airport) For Euro 3,30 it drops you of at the Leidseplein, it only takes 35 minutes!
