Avoid this hole at all costs. It seems the standards in Amsterdam have dropped to below bearable. Paid 110 euro per night for two single beds in an "apartment" which had no real ceiling, just glass with a couple of inadequate curtains. Guest from the room above were able to perv down in to the room. The sheets had a number of stains consisting of yellow, red and gray (use your imagination here). Toilet smelled of fecal matter 24/7 which permeated throughout the room.

About Budget Hotel Tourist Inn

Hotel Tourist Inn is a low budget hotel but offers visitors exceptional comfort. Recently constructed, it is nicely furnished and equipped with modern facilities such as central heating, alarm system and an elevator to help guests with heavy bags to their rooms!
The hotel consists of 22 rooms with total capacity of 87 persons. We offer single, twin, double.
We have standard rooms and also budget rooms with shared facilities. All the rooms have televisions, phones and Air-conditioning
The hotel is centrally located near all major attractions and nightlife areas. We have no curfew and the reception is open 24 hours.
Tourist inn welcomes backpackers as well as families.
Reservation in weekends is for the minimum of 3 nights.
Cancellation only 48 hours before arrival date without any costs,
For No show ,cancellation within 48 hours we will charge a penalty equal at the first night stay.

Toilet smelled of fecal matter 24/7 which permeated throughout the room. Don't eat breakfast here whatever you do. We were forced to pay a 20 euro deposit for the key for which the receipt was written on a post-it note. Lazy staff all round. As previously stated, avoid!

The hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, 5 minutes walk from the central train station and 2 minutes walk from Dam Square (Royal Palace).
You can reach the hotel from the airport by taking the train to Amsterdam's Centraal Station. From Centraal station we are a 5 minute walk away.
You can also take tram lines 1, 2, 5, 13 or 17 and get off at the first stop.
