Euphemia Hotel is a basic, simple 1 star hotel not a hostel. We have 1, 2, 3 and 4 person rooms, divided on 4 floors (no lift). Most of the rooms have private facilities the shared rooms have facilities in the corridor. The Euphemia Hotel was formerly a monastery built at the turn of the century. It is in close proximity to all the main tourist attractions within the city centre, Heineken Brewery, Leidseplein, nightlife area and the museums. Due to its location on a quiet side street, one is able to escape the hustle of the city.

The hotel is easily accessible from Central station.

In the morning we serve a simple continental buffet breakfast eat and drink as much as you want, from 8.00am to 11am at a price of €.5,- per person. We also have a vending machine and hot drinks automat.

The lounge is open during reception hours (8am-11pm). Here you can spend your afternoon writing postcards, meeting other travellers, or watching TV.

* THIS HOTEL IS SMOKE FREE! (smoking in the hotel will resault in a €.100,- charge)

* There is a minimum stay of 2 nights during the weekends

* There is a minimum stay of 4 or 5 nights during the holidays, please check before

* Cancellations are required to be e-mailed to the Euphemia Hotel 24 hours prior to arrival date (NOT ARRIVAL TIME). Failure to do so will result in a full cost of one night no show fee during week days and two nights in the weekends; this will be charged to the given credit card. The 10% deposit charged by Hostel World is a commission and it is not refundable.

Upon arrival payments must be made in advance. Cancellation upon arrival will result in FULL payment for all nights reserved.

* Booking conditions for the holidays(Easter, New Year, Queens Birthday, Pinkster and special events): all cancellations are required to be e-mailed to the Euphemia Hotel 3 x WEEKS prior to arrival date (NOT ARRIVAL TIME). Failure to do so will result in a 50% fee from the total cost, which will be charged to the given credit card.

* We ask authorisation on the given credit card (not a charge), unfortunately we will NOT keep the reservation if we cannot get authorisation. You will be contacted by the hotel to ask the security code of your credit card.

* Upon arrival it is possible to pay with debit card, there is a 5% surcharge when paying with all cards.

* The reception closes after 23.00. If you have any kind of delay and you are going to arrive after 23.00 you must notify the hotel on the same day by phone to arrange a late arrival.

* All dorms are mixed genders

* Please make sure to print out your confirmation and bring it with you to the hotel on your arrival. .
