Hotel Hortus is a 15 minute walk from Central Station. We are within walking distance of the Artis Zoo, Hortus Gardens, Flea markets and the famous Rembrandt House.

If you are not in the mood for sight seeing then our Lounge is a great place to relax. We have a Big Screen Satellite TV featuring ESPN Channel and Sky. Play a game of Pool or just sit back relax listen to music and chat with other travellers. Please note that reception/check in closes at 2300

From Schipol airport it is a 20 minute drive a taxi will cost 35-40 euros.

From Central station you can take the metro/subway. It is the second stop taking the Herengraght Exit .Once you are at the exit turn RIGHT and follow the road until you come to the end,turn LEFT.That is our street we are nr 8 on the right hand side of the street.
You can also take tram 9 from centraal station and get out at the 7th stop(plantage kerklaan).Once you get out cross the street and turn RIGHT and walk back one block.Turn LEFT at the first street Plantage Parklaan .
