Latest Review for Hotel Verdi

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Hotel is situated in a great location for museums and main park. Area felt safe late at night. Hotel very clean and quiet. Plenty of hot water for shower. If tea, milk coffee and cups had been provided in room would have been even better. However you can bring food to your room and staff were very obliging. There are steep stairs to all floors but this seems typical of the tall buildings in Amsterdam.

There are steep stairs to all floors but this seems typical of the tall buildings in Amsterdam. The hotel decor was very 70's which gave it a relaxed feel and again is probably very typical for rooms of this price in Amsterdam. I would go back as it is an easy place to find and quiet.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

This hotel has a terrific location near the major museums and the Concertgebouw, as well as very convienent public transit. Very friendly, helpful staff and a good breakfast. My room was quiet and comfortable, with free wi-fi, a fridge and a kettle, so I could make light meals in my roomwhich helps the budget traveller. Lots of restaurants and a big grocery store nearby.

The room decor was somewhat run down and needs some updating (e.g. replace torn wallpaper).

Otherwise, all was great!
