Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam Stadsdoelen is your best bed in low budget! You will stay in the picturesque and monumental part of Amsterdam! This Hostelling International hostel is situated right in the middle of town, at walking distance from the Dam square, flower market, royal palace, train station and at crawling distance from the Rembrandtplein (famous for its nightlife).
Consume culture, shop till you drop and dance the night away in Amsterdam! Stayokay Amsterdam Stadsdoelen is your best starting point! The hostel is located in a monumental building facing canals on both sides. From most rooms you will have a stunning view over ancient Amsterdam.
The hostel has 176 beds divided over 8-, 16- and 20-bedded rooms. The rooms are fitted in such a way that a feeling of privacy is guaranteed. Other facilities are: internet facilities, free wifi, a laundrette, television room, bike shelter, tourist info and (discounted) tickets for some major Amsterdam attractions, electronic door locks, lockers and safes, no curfew.

The major setback to this hostel is the lack of free Internet which is expensive also the computers where crashing when I was there

Clean and nice hostel. Kinda overpriced, but I booked in the last minute and it was the only one available. There are better options in Amsterdam, either better conditions at the same price, either cheaper at the same conditions.
