Stayokay Amsterdam Zeeburg

Photos Facilities Map Streetview Reviews

This new HI hostel is situated east of the centre in a typical Amsterdam neighbourhood. The city's must-see attractions are but a fifteen-minute cycle or tram trip away. The tram stops only 200m from here, putting us just 10 minutes from Rembrandt Square.

You can take a tour of the canals by boat, visit world-famous museums or head off shopping along the colourful Kalverstraat - and there's always plenty to do at the hostel in the evening!

We’re housed in an amazing building, a former school dating from around 1900. This enables visitors to enjoy the ultra-modern facilities in classical settings.

Our hostel is ideally suited to accommodate (large) groups, providing access to various multifunctional areas within the building.

The bedrooms are all spacious and feature private sanitary facilities. All rooms are designed by the famous Dutch designer Edward van Vliet.

Our hostel also has its own cafe/restaurant and will be sharing the building with a cinema and theatre - a truly fantastic entertainment combination!

You can rent a bicycle right our reception desk. Breakfast and city taxes are included!

Stayokay is part of the Hostelling International organization. Hostelling International members receive a discount of €2.50 per night. All Stayokay hostels have the European Eco-label.

City tax is not included, please pay upon arrival, €1.25 per person per night.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Conditions of living: The hostel was very clean and quite comfortable. We were living in room with 6 beds, there were enough space if living with your friends, but, perhaps, not very convinient if living with some random people. Wi-Fi was quite expensive but there were an internet-caffee not far away with lover prices.

Food: breakfast didn't contain hot dishes and was absolutely identical each day

Locations: there're several restaurants, caffees and shops (including 24h/w) in the area near the hostel, the train stop is really close and the train from hostel to center of Amsterdam goes about 7-10 minutes.

To sum up: I would recommend the hostel to my friends and will with high probability stay there in future trips.
