They need to do better maintenance on fittings and cleanliness of bathroom -its obviously an old hotel and needs a facelift. Very convenient to city campervan depot. Might pay them to put pictures of rooms on website. Thai restaurant upstairs - gorgeously decorated and clean but with pretty ordinary food - more vegies, less coconut milk. Didn't really like the look of there own cafe - looked a bit grotty. Service good.

Auckland Great Budget Hotel Opposite to Vector Arena 10 minutes walking from Queen Street, Ferry, Panell. All rooms are private and have own bathrooms.

Daily Maid Service.Premises Totally Non Smoking.All Rooms Have Open Windows.

Fast Broadband Internet in Foyer.Laundry and Luggage Storage (and long term)

The latest NZ edition of Lonely Planet says that: "It's Good value for such a central location, and fills fast.

plus 3 other resturants on premises

10 Minutes walking from Queen Street,Waterfront,and Parnell Village.(Great selection of Restaurants) Pizza Hut,Macdonalds,KFC,and SUBWAY very close,and Fabulous New Foodtown Supermarket 100 metres (Open 24 hours)

There's an airport shuttle to and from our hotel and Explorer, Link and Kiwi Experience also stop outside our door.

We cater for the more budget traveller who doesn't like the hustle and bustle of a large property and prefers the atmosphere of a hotel with rooms serviced daily.
