The staff were pretty friendly but the place is quite run-down.
The heaters were not working in the night and we were frozen cold. The mattresses were so old that one of which my friend slept on was actually broken in the middle. No mattress sheets were provided and the comforters were old and torn.
The toilets were pretty decent and clean though. Not exactly a value for money stay.

Topfloor is located in the city centre and is close to all transport in to, out of and around the city. All the city entertainment is at our doorstep, as is the visitor information centre.

We know this city well and can advise where to go and what to see.Also we can book excursions or bus trips for you

Topfloor is a nice happy little hostel in central city. My Wife and I (Chris & Bert) do our best to make your stay with us a pleasant experience whether you stay for a short term or long term we can also help if you are on a working holiday or hope to buy an auto to travel independently

We have the usual facilities, such as laundry and television room etc.

Our prices are amongst the best in Auckland.

QUEEN Street is the main street in Auckland. If you walk up Queen st from the waterfront, we are the seventh street on the right. Walk up Wellesley st. 50m and we are on the right a green sign by the door. Go to the elevator and choose the 5th floor or stairs to the top.
From airport the airbus or supershuttle which is the best price for 2 or more people and will take you to our door
