This is a Trusted Review. Why?
A flagship YHA, with top-notch facilities (especially noteworthy: the awesome industrial strength kitchen). Lacks some atmosphere, though definitely not because of lack of trying by the people at reception. Very useful travel desk, and generally a great place to stay.
(Although I last stayed here in Feb 2005, I visited it again to use their travel desk in Jun 2008, and it seemed otherwise to be still as good.)

Customer feedback -
' I loved the fact that there are so many communal spaces to relax in and the kitchen was very well equipt and tidy. The rooms were also cleaned to a high standard and all the cleaning staff were very friendly.'
