Taking its name from the grove of pepper trees (Schimus molle) lining the entrance to this gracious Edwardian villa, The Peppertree is now fully restored to its former glory. Built in 1901 using radiantly rich native timbers, The Peppertree is encased by 10 acres of lush farmland and traditional colonial look. Presenting relaxing tempters such as croquet, petanque, swimming pool and gym, The Peppertree also boasts an on-site olive grove and a boutique vineyard in a region bountiful in outstanding wines. The timeless feel of this beautiful homestead flows through into each of the five guests suites where the ambiance of an open fire prevails. WB
