Overall, the place is alright except that the kitchen facilities are poor. It can do with some improvement. The stove top is slow to heat up and can barely cook meat.

About Tranquil Lodge

Tranquil (Oxford Dictionary) calm, serene, peaceful and quiet. \'THAT\'S US.\' If you are looking for a hostel outside the noise and hussle of the city centre we are situated about 15 mins walk north of Cathedral Square. Smaller homely, yet funky, well facilitated hostel with awesome indoor/ outdoor living area. Large sunny dining room, lounge with plenty of free videos. All bedrooms heated, some with own TV, own basins and fully made-up \'new\' beds. Internet, pool table, FREE LOCAL PHONE CALLS.
