Welcome to the Bay Adventurer, the newest quality backpackers in the Bay of Islands which opened in December 2001. We are more than just a hostel - with our extensive range of facilities we are a true Backpackers Resort.
We offer a range of accommodation options including: dorms, private rooms, fully self-contained studio rooms and apartments.
The Bay Adventurer provides great value accommodation for backpackers, independent travellers, couples, families, small and large groups.
Facilities include free pool and spa, free bikes, free kayak, tennis, tropical gardens, large new BBQ area, outside dining in our large courtyard, kitchen, laundry, lounge, open fire, separate email and internet room and wireless internet. Off-street parking.
We also have a DISCOUNT BOOKING SERVICE and our friendly knowledgeable, local staff can advise and book all of your tours and activities.

The Bay Adventurer is Paihia's newest backpacker resort. We are a clean, modern and safe (security patrol and cameras) complex set in a friendly atmosphere.
All of our rooms have windows and many have large glass sliding doors that open onto a courtyard, deck or balcony. Studios and apartments are of a high standard with tiled kitchenettes and ensuite bathrooms, and TVs.
Two buildings are separated by a large, open and sunny courtyard which is great for outdoor dining, cooking up the kiwi BBQ, enjoying a drink and meeting people.
Enjoy the tropical garden setting and relax in the pool or outdoor spa.

We are situated on Kings Road, Paihia.
Backpacker buses drop off at Kings Road daily, if travelling on the Intercity or Northliner bus ask your driver for a Kings Road drop off.
