Our new secure and modern facility is purpose built with all our guests in mind. If you are wanting to avoid the 'tourist bus crowds' then this is the place for you - relaxing and quiet.
A 2 minute walk to the centre of town for great shops, cafes, restaurants, niteclubs and a 2 minutes walk to the shores of our famous Lake Taupo.
After experiencing the local adrenaline pumping activities, a days shopping, or a night on the town, come home to the comforts of our clean warm rooms. Relax in a lovely outdoor spa or sit on our large deck to watch the sunsets over our beautiful Lake Taupo and the Central Plateau mountains or enjoy a good book by our cosy fire.
With our large well equipped kitchen, free onsite undercover carparking, clean showers with hairdriers, bbq on the deck, large quiet lounge and comfortable beds your stay with us will be a memorable one.

Reception is open until 8.30pm (YOU MUST CONTACT RECEPTION VIA PHONE CALL PRIOR TO ARRIVAL IF YOU ARE WANTING A LATER CHECK-IN - OTHERWISE WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT SOMEONE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO LET YOU IN THE BUILDING).
We do not permit stag/hen parties during our peak months. We reserve the right to refuse any group bookings for this purpose over these times.
Cancellation Policy: Minimum of 48 hours notice is required -for cancellations.
Cancellations for groups: We have separate policies and terms for group bookings...please enquire

RSSWe thought we were staying in a Lodge with a private ensuite. Instead it was a Backpacker with just a Bed in the room hard up against the wall, I had to climb over my husband to get out of bed. There were no reading lights, no bed side tables, no hanging cupboards or hooks, no soap holder in the bathroom, no selves in the bathroom, no where to put your cloths in the bathroom, no mats also. We were given just 2 small towels and a hand towel.
This accommodation was not suitable for us being in our 60's. Also would like to say that you should not be advertising it as a LODGE if it is just a bare BACKPACKER accommodation.
