The Point Arequipa Hostel is well-located, in a nice neighborhood. The atmosphere is friendly and young. It's a good place to meet other travellers and share experiences and trips.
The staff are helpful enough and gentle. However, sometimes they said they could cook dinner for us, but then they had no idea they had put a notice on the board. Also, the staff seemed to be confused, apparently because they forgot to inform their partners about our queries, arrangements or plans.

All in all, I would recommend this hostel, if you like a laid-back and flexible experience.

Directions
When you turn up in Arequipa, in all likelihood, it'll be in one of two places: the airport or the bus station.
From either of these places we can collect you, so contact us with your travel details (time of arrival, company name and transport number) and we'll be there waiting for you. If not, give us a call and if the car is available, we'll come and pick you up. It costs s/.15 from the airport and s/.6 from the bus station. Look out for our driver holding a sign with your name on it.
We are located in a quiet suburb close to the city centre: about a ten minute walk or a s/.2 taxi ride.
Don't believe taxi drivers that claim the hostel is fully booked,burned down or doesn't exist anymore... we always keep a space for you.
