This is a Trusted Review. Why?
I had mixed feelings about this hostel. I was worried about finding a hostel in Cusco during high season so I booked online to avoid not finding a place. I regretted this. I had to book a 3 bedroom for 2 people and although the place was not full they would not offer any form of discount on the room considering we were just a couple. We had a private bathroom but it was not very clean. For the price it was not worth it. After walking around Cusco we found much nicer places for much cheaper and only stayed one night at Hostal El Triunfo. The one thing it has is an amazing location very close to the main square, the train booking office and arguably the best restaraunt in Cusco. The service was very good however the check out is at 9:00 am and it says to ask for 12pm check out if you want it but they told us no 10 was the latest possible unless we wanted to pay an extra half day.
