The hostel was perfectly OK, however I did email the hostel several days before arriving to request a pickup from the airport. I got no response and the pickup did not arrive. Luckily taxis were easy to come by and cheap (40 soles).

This is a lovely Hostel for hikers and travellers who don't want to spend much money but also having a really pleasurable stay in a clean and secure lodge.
The hostel has a great and colorful design, with a nice terrace with Ping-Pong table, inside garden and a Climbing Wall. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Our goals are simple:
- To provide you economic lodgings at a very high quality standard;
- To invest in your comfort;
- To create a very beautiful, nice, friendly and fun atmosphere where you can meet other people from all over the world;
- To provide you all the tourist information that you may need 24 hours a day.
- To be sure that you are gonna enjoy your stay and, for sure, recommend us.
Our beds are biggers and our mattresses are really comfortable.
We know what you need because we are also backpackers.

Youth Hostel Malka is the official hostel in Lima of REPAJ (Red Peruana de Albergues Juveniles).
And we are, affiliated to International Student Identity Card (ISIC), and recommended in the South American Hand Book (Footprints), Lonely Planet, Routard Guide and Let's Go Guide.
We have information about the best inexpensive lodges in all Peru for travellers; REPAJ ( Red Peruana de Albergues Juveniles) and the coolest tourist spots.

Youth Hostel Malka is strategically located in San Isidro, a quiet and safe neighbourhood in Lima, the capital city.
San Isidro is a centric area, beautiful and exclusive, next to everythink: banks, money exchange agencies, markets, drugstores, restaurants, fast food, department stores.
Public transportation and cabs available next to the hostel
We are a 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes to the beachs. We are between Downtonw of Lima( 10 minutes) and Miraflores (10 minutes).
