About Ale Friburgo Hostel

The hostel is Located in a small, safe and charming colonial town, on the mountain area, 2 and half hours from Rio de Janeiro.

The ALE in Braunes is our house converted to a hostel. The facilities were set to promote cultural interchange through guest integration.

With our informal atmosphere, everyone is free to mingle, make friends, or to sit down and relax, watching the nature around our hostel, offering a beautiful view. Here you will find the warmth that only a family can offer.

We have swimming pool, sauna, BBQ area, garden and a small grass volleyball camp.

Here, you will find a cute hostel, with comfortable rooms and beds/bunkes.

We also have a convenience store, were you can get some things to make your own food, using the equipped shared kitchen.

Braunes is located 2 km going up from the center of Friburgo, were are bars, night clubs, pizza houses, steak houses, restaurants, shopping centers, etc.

After you know Copacabana and Ipanema (they are really beautiful...), discover the reasons to come to Nova Friburgo and to stay at the only Youth Hostel in town.

Location Information

from Novo Rio Bus Station: take a 1001 bus to Nova Friburgo. At the South Bus Station (in Nova Friburgo), call us to a transfer in (for only R$5,00 - until 10:00pm). After that take a taxi to Curva da Macumba - Albergue.

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 Days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the full cost of the reservation. Deposits paid are non refundable.
