About Casa Camilla-Boracay

Internet Access 24 hour reception

THE SIMPLE LIFE, Sleeping in a hammock under coconut palm trees swaying in the tropical breeze, reading your favorite novels as you make difficult choices. Decisions, decisions, should you get an early start on the sunset happy hour with a tropical rum drink or a cold San Miguel Beer or wait, maybe even order another incredible mango shake.

Filipinos are among the friendliest people in the world whose smiling faces welcome you to their islands and remind you, 'Don't Worry Be HAPPY'. Sleep, sail, or swim as time fades away with each romantic sunset. Just IMAGINE, it's you in your own tropical dream absorbed by the hues of blue sky and sea.

We strive to have each one of our rooms to be spotlessly clean so PLEASE do not hesitate to inform the staff if you need something cleaned or changed. The local staff will take great care of you while you stay with us, whether on vacation with your family or traveling alone.

We have several different sizes and layouts for our rooms. Each one provides the best value on Boracay, and has its own balcony surrounded by tropical plants.

Directions

Getting There from Manila: MBRS Passenger Shipping Lines presently has CANCELED ALL departures so we are waiting for any new update as to the future. Asian Spirit Airlines flies with smaller aircraft from 8 to 15 times daily depending on season to Caticlan as does SEAIR with their latest new plane advertising Manila to Caticlan in 35 MINUTES! PAL (Philippine Airlines )and Cebu Pacific Airlines fly 2 to 3 times DAILY from Manila to Kalibo using larger aircraft ( 110 to 140 passengers ) where air-conditioned vans wait for passengers at the Kalibo Airport parking lot for the 1-1/2 hour scenic ride through lush tropical landscapes and local villages for P150 each ( Beware of overcharging you P200 / person ) to Caticlan. You can also rent one of the 10+ passenger private vans waiting / parked at the Kalibo airport that allows you to stop or shop along the way EASILY from P700 to P800 ( beware of overcharging P1000 to P1200 ) depending on the van / driver. All the airlines charge from P1350 to P3950 one way with the lowest airfares being available from Sunday to Thursdays with 2 or 3 days advance payment or their EARLY morning 5AM midday & late afternoon departing flights to Caticlan.

From Cebu City: Cebu Pacific Airlines flies 1 or 2 times daily to Kalibo from Cebu to Kalibo offering the BEST PROMO airfare deals as low as P1350 one way although PAL has been forced by the competitive rates to lower their usually higher fares to match those of competing airlines. Asian Spirit Airlines also flies daily from Cebu City to Caticlan on smaller planes with higher fares.

From Manila, Negros Island and Cebu Island, going overland via the 'RoRo' system of buses and ferries is possible from P800 to P1250 ( U$22 ) or a bit less one way if each 'leg' paid separately;
From Manila:
1) JAM Bus Station in Manila on Taft Ave near corner of Buendia east side of the street or other bus companies in the Cubao area, takes 2 +hours ( P170 ) departing every half hour / hour to BATANGAS PIER depending on the time of the day,

2) then take the fast ferry to Calapan, Mindoro ( P230 / 1-1/2 to 2+ hours ) leaving every hour or two ( two companies operate ) from 6AM to 6PM or the round the clock slower ferries ( P180/ 2-1/2 to 3 hours )

3) Then take one of the private vans waiting / parked going to ROXAS , MINDORO ( P190 / 2hr-15 min to 2-1/2 hours )

4 ) Then take one of the six daily ferries ( P330 / 4 to 5 hours ) to Caticlan Station ; 6AM, 12 Noon, 8PM, 10 PM 12 Midnight 2AM

From Late November to June from Caticlan the charge for a local, large 'banca' , or outrigger is only P20 to Boracay + the NEW INFLATED DENR fee from P20 to P50, to Cagban, the new jetty port located on the southern most tip of Boracay Island. From June to November after the winds change you will arrive on the opposite side of the island from the main beach and take a tricycle from there to TREE HOUSE RESORT formerly the ALYSSA RESORT ( which most tricycle drivers know it as ), in ANGOL, White Beach; you will be let off exactly 40 meters from the main white beach path, TURN RIGHT, walk 45 meters to Casa Camilla our sign can be seen, located past Surfside Resort next to the 357 Resort, both neighbor resorts with average room rates of U$100 to U$150 / night!!!

WG&A Superferry leaves 4 times a week from Manila's north harbor, Pier 4, to Dumaguet, 20 minutes from Kalibo.

Iloilo is on the southeast end of Panay, and Boracay is opposite Caticlan, off the northwest corner. The minivan ride from Iloilo to Caticlan would be 5 hours. From the outskirts of Iloilo City, near SM Shopping Mall complex there's the main bus terminal and take a aircon minivan 5 hours to Caticlan for about 300 Pesos.
