Well placed hostel just at the north end of the old town. Room clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. Not really for people aiming to get any sleep though as the rooms come off the lounge area where the TV and kitchen is. Technically only open 07.00-23.00, but this did mean we got woken up at 07.00 every morning by chatty people having breakfast.

AAE Mosquito Hostel is probably the Best Located hostel in Krakow. Just 5 minutes walk from the Train Station and also 5 minutes walk to the Main Square. You will have an amazing stay here, in our new, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with spectacular interior decoration.

We also offer Free Internet & WiFi and a fully equipped modern Kitchen (microwave, refridgerator) directly connected with our common room, which is a great place to chill out and make friends as well as start out the night the right way.
Mosquito Hostel offers you a choice of privates and dorm rooms. Our dorms with bunk beds and really thick comfortable mattresses are full adult size, so no chance to bump your head on the top bunk as you sit on the bottom one! Each bed has comfortable duvet and bed linen.
Our DVD collection is getting bigger and bigger every day and if its not enough for you we have hundreds of satellite TV stations from whole world - CNN, BBC etc - including Digital +. In our common room you will find great selection of games, books and guides.
Our staff works very hard to have a very respectful and peaceful vibe without the crazy drunken atmosphere offered at most other hostels. Our goal is to make you feel like at home and will provide you with a great social atmosphere, as well as giving you the opportunity to have a good sleep, after a busy day of sightseeing the city.

Directions
Why get lost in Krakow? Find us is easy. We will show you exactly how to arrive from the airport, what free shuttle bus to take to the train, then exactly which street to take to arrive at our door, in a nice modern building with an elevator.
Mosquito Hostel is just 5 minutes walk from Train Station and also 5 minutes walk from Main Square.
If you are coming by plane, the easiest way to get to our hostel is to take the train leaving from the airport train terminal to the Main Train Station. From the airport terminal building there is a FREE shuttle bus, which takes you to the train terminal or you can just walk 200meters.
The train operates from 4.24 am till 00.15 am. The ticket is for 8 PLN ( you can buy it in the train ).It takes around 16 minutes to get to the Main Train Station.
When you leave the Train Station through the big mall Galeria Krakowska you will be on the Pawia Street, turn left and go straight on Pawia Street to the big intersection and turn right on Basztowa street. After 2 minutes of walking you will reach Tram Stop called Basztowa Lot - turn right and you will see our orange MOSQUITO HOSTEL sign.
