This hostel is really nice. It is 5 minutes by foot from the train station Warsawa Centralna, so really practice and it is quiet place. Bedrooms are nice but a little bit noisy because of the beds and the floor, and the showers are correct also.

About Hostel Green Mazovia
\'Zielone Mazowsze\' (Green Mazovia) Hostel is located in the very center of Warsaw. Out of all hostels in Warsaw we are closest to the Main (Central) Railway Station - only 5 min. by walk! or the Palace of Culture - also 5 min. by walk.
A lot of guests say that inside Green Mazovia is familiar, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Hostel is quite small (maximum 24 places) so very fast you will know everybody and could chill out, relax after busy Warsaw.
Our host/staff are helpfull and friendly, so if you will have any questions or problems please talk with Marcin, Gaja, Maciek, Ola or Arek. If they are able to help you, they will it for sure.
We are situated in the apartment of an antique Art Nouveau building with an interesting historical details. This building is an evenement on the west side of Warsaw, because it wasn\'t destroyed during the World War II. There are really few buildings like this. Old Town was completely rebuilt this one not.
Hostel is run by an ecological, non-profit organization, \'Zielone Mazowsze\' (\'Green Mazovia\') association. Staying here you could do something good for Warsaw, beacause money from the hostel helps in activity of this organization. Also spending time in our hostel you could learn something about activist side of Warsaw.
There is a common, large, full-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a living-room (computers with internet for free). In all this places and in rooms smoking is forbidden, so nonsmokers should be happy and can spend they time without smoke. Smokers can smoke on balcony.
CHECK-IN time is 7am-12 am and 5 pm-11pm. After checking in you can get a key and be back really late at night. Betwen 12am-5pm hostel is usually closed.
CHECK-OUT time is 12:00 a.m, but if you need, you can leave your luggage at host room and come back for it after 5 pm. Also after 5 pm there is no problem to take a shower, or to use a kitchen etc.

If you will come to Warsaw in our closing hours try to phone us (022 621-77-77) maybe there will be someone and you could leave your luggage. But if nobody will answer you could live your luggage in lockers in Dworzec Centralny train station (it's only 5 minutes from Green Mazovia), go to visit Warsaw and come back for it later.

Please remember to cancel your reservation if you will know that you will not come. If you will not cancel it in 24 h before time of arrival we can charge one night money from you.

Before you arrive we must tell you that our hostel is not a typical hostel. The owner is not a person but a non-government ecological organization (Zielone Mazowsze, in english Green Mazovia). That means the money you pay us helps Warsaw to be more green, more smog free, more dust free, more garbage free with good public transport and with more bikes routes. By staying in our hostel you do something good for Warsaw, not for private wallet. We really thank you for your help :)! Just because we are an ecological organization you can come across in our hostel not only guests and staff but also members and workers of this organization. We have office in the same apartment, every Wednesday at 18:30-20:30 pm there is our meeting in the living room, at one before last Thursday at 18 there is meeting of critical mass also in living room (about Warsaw critical mass see http://www.masa.waw.pl/index.php?lang=english ) and on last Friday of every month there is critical mass at 18, so don't be surprised that in those days or sometimes in different days you will see other people then guests and staff. But don't worry they are good people :) and we think it maybe interesting for you to see how non-government organization works.

HOW TO GET TO US :
From Warszawa Centralna train station:
- It is 5 minutes walking. You have to cross the busy 'Jerozolimskie Avenue' by underground pass. You are on the 'Jerozolimskie Avenue'.
From 'Warszawa Zachodnia' bus and train station:
- Board 517, E2, 405 or 127 bus with valid ticket. Exit the bus at 'Dworzec Centralny' (ca. 8-20 minutes). You are on the 'Jerozolimskie Avenue'.
From Okecie Airport:
- Board 175 bus with a valid ticket. Exit the bus at 'Dworzec Centralny' stop (ca. 30-40 minutes). You are on the Jerozolimskie Avenue.
Nowogrodzka Str. where hostel is located is parallel to Jerozolimskie Ave. Hostel is in the building between Pankiewicza Str. and Poznanska Str. At the 46 Nowogrodzka Str. ring '6' on the intercom. Go to first entrance on the left, dial '6' again, get to the second floor.
You can buy tickets in every kiosk and we recommend you daily ticket (it cost 9 PLN), or 3 days ticket (it cost 16 PLN). This tickets are for all public transport in Warsaw area (buses, trams, underground or train).
Remember that reception works 7-12 am and 5-11 pm. But when you check in on those hours you could get key and come back after 11 pm. Betwen 12 am-5 pm hostel is usually close.

This hostel is really nice. It is 5 minutes by foot from the train station Warsawa Centralna, so really practice and it is quiet place. Bedrooms are nice but a little bit noisy because of the beds and the floor, and the showers are correct also. The kitchen is good-fitted and there are computers with an internet connexion. Staff and people are nice and helpful. The atmosphere is great. I really enjoyed this place and hope I will come back here again !
