Free Wifi in all Rooms !WYDRio2013 , Jornada Mundial da Juventude (JMJ) , Now on-line to book (6 nights minimum booking:23rd,24th,25th,26th,27th and 28th of July 2013).A charming villa, 3 blocks from the beach in the heart of Ipanema, clean, safe and calm .No rush for breakfast , it is self-made from 8 AM till 3 PM with fresh fruits , organics eggs , cheese , ham and much more ...The owner Stephane is French,speaks English,Portuguese,Spanish,German and Italian.He knows Rio since 1987.Free internet .No Curfew.Good Filtered Water , no need to buy mineral water.Almost 24 Hours English Speaking Reception.We ask a 50 reais key deposit .2 Single rooms + 2 mixed dorm of 6 beds + few private rooms which 3 are Ensuite.All rooms are not smoking.We have no A.C only fans.Airport pick-up at GIG : 80 reais .Airport pick-up at SDU : 50 reais .At the moment , we accept only cash on arrival for payment , thank you .For Carnival (Minimum 5 nights booking:28th,01st,02nd,03rd and 04th of march 2014) and one week after , Easter , Brazilian Holidays , World Soccer Cup 2014 , Rock in Rio , New Year s Eve (Minimum 4 nights booking 29th,30th,31st and 01st) and one week after and World Youth Day 2013 (Minimum 6 nights:23rd,24th,25th,26th,27th and 28th of July 2013) an e-mail will be sent to you about how to make the full advance payment as soon as possible ! And there will be no refunds.If you are a group , full advance payment may be asked !The owner does travel few months every year . Everything perfect except that I got bitten by bedbugs.
The people nice, the location perfect,the price great, facilities very good and breakfast available all day. Towels and bed sheets included.
I got an individual room that was OK for only 85 reais a day but I got some bedbug bites so I guess they should change the matress.
