We stayed for a brief one night stop over during our journey. The house was quiet, comfotable and very clean. The location was wonderful and we really enjoyed the view over the city during breakfast. Christine was very welcoming and helpful. As we arrived late in the evening we took a taxi from the station up to the house, which kept the journey simple. Christine kindley dropped us near the staion the following morning which also helped us on our way quickly.

Breakfast Included
Haus Christine offers guests the personal environment combined with the warmth of a country cottage. Guests are greeted and made to feel immediately "at home". All rooms feature wash basins and newly renovated decore. Shower and toilet are on the floor. Full breakfast with eggs, salami, ham, cheese, fresh rolls, juice, coffee, tea or hot chocolate are served. Breakfast and shower are included in the price. Guests are also welcomed to enjoy afternoons relaxing in the sunlit wintergarden with a breathtaking view overlooking Salzburg and the captivating Alpine mountains. Located minutes from the central train station, pick-up is available. Families with children are welcomed, playground provided.

We can book the Sound of Music tour or other tours for you. Tickets are available here and tour buses pick up every morning at the front door.
We speak English and are open year round.

We were very pleased with the accommodation. The views from the house were lovely (especially in the snow). The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was a 10 minute walk to the railway station and 15 minutes to the bus stop, so we were well placed for Salzburg. (Be warned the climb from the railway station is very steep!) The owner was pleasant and helpful.

Directions
EXTENDED DIRECTIONS
The best way to get to our establishment is to take a train or bus out of the city. If you need help, call from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) and we will inform you of train schedules and trainplatforms. Our stop is the first (it only takes you 4 minutes)out of the main train station of Salzburg. The stop is called Salzburg-Kasern If you want us to pick you up at the smaller train station (Salzburg-Kasern), call from the main train station because there is no public call box at Salzburg-Kasern. Walking distance is only 7-10 minutes up the hill. You will see our sign on the left hand side. If there is no train we can possibly pick you up before 9:00 p.m. from the main train station. Taxis are available all night long (appr. 10 ).
AIRPORT:
Take bus number 2 from the airport to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Take the train from there to Salzburg-Kasern. If you need information regarding train schedules or gates, please call us. If there is no train we can possibly pick you up before 9:00 p.m. from the main train station. There is no pick-up service from the airport. The most convenient way is to take a taxi directly from the airport to Haus Christine (appr. 15)
BUS:
Take bus Nr. 21 from Mirabellplatz to Kasern(Werner v. Siemens Platz). The bus goes every 15 minutes. From the Kasern bus stop, turn right (north ---> hill) and walk down the walking path over the train bridge. Go up the hill and you will see our sign on the left-hand side.
CAR:
Take the exit on the highway Salzburg Nord (North), direction Hallwang. At the first traffic light turn right and go into the village Kasern. Drive through, direction Hallwang, and go through the train tunnel. Turn left after the tunnel and drive up the hill only 1-2 minutes. You will see our sign on the left-hand side, Panoramaweg 3. If you have problems finding us, please call.
IMPORTANT:
If you change your arrivingtime or you come later than 10 pm, please call me or mail than I give you informations how to come in the house, if I am not at home or in bed.
