Casa Pombal is a small bed & breakfast on the top of a hill in the historical heart of Coimbra. This old townhouse is utterly unpretencious and will stir feelings of nostalgia for those student years. Due to the limited number of rooms, personal care is guarenteed. The dutch manager and her staff are very willing to give lots of local information. Included in the price is a 'dutch' breakfast served in the comman room, decorated with fine tiles. Guests can also meet on the small vine-covered patio.

Directions
When you come by car, you follow the signs for Centro and
'Praça da Republica' till you come to a large avenue (Sa da Bandeira). At
that avenue you turn into the Padre Antonio Vieira. At the top of that road
(before a sharp curve to the left) park your car around there. Then walk
into the Rua da Matematica and at the bottom you will find Rua das Flores.
IMPORTANT for GPS users. Please programm the GPS on RUA DA MATEMATICA, because then the GPS will lead you through the main streets to the top of the historical center.
When you come by public transport we advise you to take a taxi (ca. 5 euro) from the station, since we are on a top hill location and carrying luggage might be quite tiring.
