The Hotel Maria is a 3 star hotel totally rebuilt, located in the city centre of Faro, less than 20 meters away from the main commercial street (Santo Antonio). About 200 meters away we can also find the Garden Manuel Bvar, the marina, the tourism information point and the historical centre, also called Cidade Velha.Santa Maria has 5 floors in a total of 60 rooms (one suite and one room adapted for disabled people) all equipped with satellite TV, mini-bar, and air-conditioning, telephone and safety deposit box.

I was travelling at the time and found it difficult to rectify this. Needless to say, the hotel was on the ball and resolved this issue in no time at all, and there was no problem.
Facilities, location and service were all first rate, and the price was great (but it was not summer).
Highly recommended.

Hotel Santa Maria is ideally located to explore what faro has to offer. The staff there are really friendly and helpful and made our stay even more pleasent. I would recommend anyone to stay here for weekend break or even longer.
