About Travellers House
The Travellers House is ideally located in the most historical and central area of Lisbon, (Baixa), within walking distance to all major attractions, and interesting spots of Lisbon, with a super transport network at your door.
In a 250 year old building, we invite our fellow travellers to relax in our music lounge, enjoy a film in the TV/DVD room, or read our books and surf our mega-fast internet, in the reading lounge.
We appreciate the importance of clean facilities therefore we'll be cleaning all day long, making sure everything is spotless.
Our facilities include bathroom for men and for women, hot showers 24 hours a day, 4 common rooms (dining room, Music lounge, TV/DVD area, reading lounge), and free use kitchen.
Owned and managed by travellers who together designed this Hostel in order to provide you with the best stay in one of the most picturesque cities of Europe. Enjoy a friendly, fun and intimate atmosphere for young travellers, hopefully making you feel at Home.
Besides the Travellers House, we have just renovated a historic building 10 minutes from the Hostel, the 'Travellers House-Studios', which includes four charming studio apartments. Ok so, the staff working here are fantastic they know all the right places to visit, the best places to go out and the best piri piri chicken for a ridiculously low price. The facilities are fantastic with everything you could possibly want. The take tours during the day for an extra price and at night take you out to Fado and bar crawls. The location is great and its very hard to get lost. Love this place and will definately be back sometime soon.
