The Travellers House is ideally located in the most historical and central area of Lisbon, (Baixa), within a walking distance to all major attractions, and interesting spots of Lisbon, with a super transport network at your door.
In a 250 year old building, we invite our fellow travellers to relax in our music lounge, enjoy a film in the TV/DVD room, or read our books and surf our mega-fast internet, in the reading lounge.
We appreciate the importance of clean facilities therefore we'll be cleaning all day long, making sure everything is spotless.
Our facilities include 2 Bathrooms with 4 hot showers 24 hours a day. 4 common rooms (dinning room, Music lounge, TV/DVD area, reading lounge), and free use kitchen.
Owned and managed by travellers, together designed this Hostel in order to provide you the best stay in one of the most picturesque cities of Europe. Enjoy a friendly, fun and intimate atmosphere for young travellers, hopefully making you feel at Home.
Besides the Travellers House, we have just renovated an Apartment in the same building, 'The Little Travellers House', which includes three charming bedrooms. The Apartment has its own toilet, shower room, a colourful kitchen and cozy living room. Two rooms are Double bedrooms and one is single. Better than more words, just take a look at the pictures'

Getting here;
'Rua Augusta ' is one of the most famous streets in all of Portugal as it is in Lisbon city center, therefore, you'll find it easy to get transportation from anywhere in the city.
It's a pedestrian street that goes from 'Rossio' to 'Praca do Comercio': the two main squares.
We're in front of a small tourist office, 4 blocks away from the arch on 'Praca do comercio'
- From Lisbon Airport
40 min. Bus 44 (doesn't run Saturday and Sunday); 745, and get off at Praca do Comercio - 1.40
30 min. 'Aerobus' 91 and get off at Praca do Comercio - 3,5 (runs from 7:40a.m. to 8:45p.m.)
15 min. Taxi - we recommend buying the taxi voucher in the tourism desk at the airport. 15,37 or 18,44 at night and weekends
- From Santa Apolonia Train Station
Bus 9, 47, 746, or 759 and get off at Praca do Comercio-1.40
metro - Blue line to 'Terreiro do Paco' (exit through Praca do Comercio), walk through the arch to Rua Augusta - 0.80

- From Gare do Oriente Train Station
20 min by Bus get 44 (doesn't run Saturday and Sunday) or 745 and get off Praca do Comercio - 1.40
20 min by Metro (underground) get the Red Line to 'Alameda'. Change to Green Line (direccion Cais do Sodre) and get off at Baixa/Chiado- (exit through Rua do Ouro), walk straight till you get to Rua Augusta and turn right - 0.8
15 min by Taxi - 15
- From Sete Rios Train Station / Bus terminal
20 min by Metro (underground) get the Blue Line and get off at Terreiro do Paco- (exit through Praca do Comercio), walk through the arch to Rua Augusta - 0.80
