Al Salam Camp is an idyllic family-run oasis on the West Bank of the Nile at Luxor, just a couple of km from the Valley of the Kings and other world famous sites.

We have eight comfortable huts built in traditional style and sited around a central courtyard where you can eat, relax and plan your adventures.

It's an ideal base for seeing the Luxor monuments, starting a boat trip down the Nile or getting to know the locals.

We can advise on any aspect of your trip and help with bookings, transport, contacts etc.

Al Salam is in the quiet village of Ramlah on the West Bank of Luxor, about 1,5 km south of the public ferry terminus, and 750 metres behind the new mosque. You can walk from the ferry in about 15 minutes (just follow the path along the Nile) or if you have luggage it's just a 5 minute taxi ride. We can arrange pick-up from the airport, ferry or other location.
