I'm not one to give credit where it's not due. I have never seen a hostel so clean and staff so friendly!
The Hostel itself is situated on a road parallel to the main touristy street, which was always handy if you were lost or directing a taxi. The metro station is at the intersection of 4 lines and therefore probably the most useful. It takes 5 mins to walk to a supermarket, where i got all i needed, and 10-15 mins down a single road to get to the front door of the Kremlin.... more

One of the most centrally located in a unique fashionable district. We are 3 minutes from the metro station Arbatskaya. It is only 1 minute to the famous Arbat Street with Hard Rock café, 10 minutes to Kremlin, 7 minutes to the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, 3 minutes to the Pushkin State Museum, 12 minutes from the world famous Bolshoy Theatre.

The Hostel itself is situated on a road parallel to the main touristy street, which was always handy if you were lost or directing a taxi. The metro station is at the intersection of 4 lines and therefore probably the most useful. It takes 5 mins to walk to a supermarket, where i got all i needed, and 10-15 mins down a single road to get to the front door of the Kremlin. All in all, the location of the hostel is second to none!
The facilities were great too. The bathrooms were very impressive and completely unexpected, as was the living room and the modern kitchen. The rooms were as expected (but by no means bad). There were 2 computers available for use and free wifi. There was always someone present on reception 24hrs a day, which was a nice feature, as I came from the airport pretty late.
The only thing with this hostel is that you have to pay for these features. However, the price is justified by how impressive this hostel is!
I would totally recommend this place to anyone staying in Moscow, I literally had the best week of my life there and made loads of friends, not only with the other travellers, but also the staff! Keep up the good work HM, see you next time I'm in Moscow!

By metro:
- Metro station: Arbatskaya - Filyovskaya line (light blue line).
As soon as you are out of metro you can see our building at the other side of the road from the left. We are across from the Gogol' Monument.
When you are out of the metro, take a right. There will be a pedestrian underpass in front of you. Proceed through the underpass and take a left. Our hostel is at the corner of Gogolyevskiy Boulevard and Maliy Afanas'yeyskiy Side-street. The entrance is on the side street: go to the gray door and dial 14 on the keypad. We are on the 4th floor, at apartment 14.
From metro station Borovitskaya (grey line) or Biblioteka imeni Lenina (red line):
Take an exit to Znamenka Street, when you are out of metro, go to the right and turn to the right again after corner, keep walking strict directly untill you reach Gogolyevskiy Boulvar (you will see a park with a big monument). Cross the street and you are right near our building. Our entrance is from M. Afanasyevskiy Pereulok, first grey door.
From metro station Kropotkinskaya (red line):
Take an exit to Gogolyevskiy Boulevard. When you are out go to the right along the park. When you reach Gogolyevskiy Monument, we are from the left hand on the corner. Entrance is from M. Afanasyevskiy Pereulok, first grey door.
You can also reach us from the metro stations Arbatskaya (dark blue line), Borovitskaya (grey line), Biblioteka imeni Lenina (red line) and Aleksandrovskiy Sad (lightblue line), but then your way to us will take about 10 mins walk.
