The hostel is very central. Ten minites walk and you are onthe red scuare. That is very nice about it. it is in an old building and there is a very tiny shower, wich leaks water on the floor. the building is clean, the beds old and the mettres is very rusian, made of iron. but it works. the place is always noisy. but ist,s fun to meet al sorts of people.

Although the rooms were rather small, I really enjoyed my stay. The location of the hostel was very good, only a short walk away from the nearest metro station. The service was excellent and flexible, even though we had to change the date of our departure. Nice experience!

take care with the "new rules", that are not explained in the web page nor in any oficial paper of the hostel.
To find it is quite difficult, the entrance is in the back street of Arbet, first time had to call by phone to get an explanation.
The only thing going for this hostel is its location, which is right in the middle of touristy Arbat St and about 20 minutes walk from the Kremlin. On the downside, it is overpriced for what we got. We stayed in a twin room but the door did not lock from the inside, allowing other guests to open the door when they mistaked our room for the bathroom, which was the next door down. There is no kitchen although a fridge is available as well as a jug, on request. Toilet paper was stocked in the afternoon and when it ran out by 10 p.m., it wasn't restocked until the next afternoon. The staff gudgingly spoke English and provided the shortest, although not the most helpful, answers to our questions. They charge 700 rubles for visa registration. I would recommend this hostel for its location only and warn you that it is overpriced for what you get.

From the exit of the metro station Smolenskaya (dark blue line) turn right and follow to Mc Donalds. Then turn left to the Arbat Street. You need to walk about 100 meters. You will pass The Hard Rock Cafe on your left , on the next right corner you gonna see the post office, and the statue of Ocudjava the poete, turn right on this little place and again turn right on the next first corner. In front of you will be a 4 floor building, our sign on the first floor window. Our entrance is right behind this house.
Just go around of this house You will see our yellow signboard on the left side of the door with a lot of pictures from newspapers
.When you reach the entrance just ring and we will open the door.
