The hostel in itself was fine. They didn't speak much english. Russian was the main languague wich is very strange in a hostel. Also some of the actual russian guests messed up the athmosphere it seemed liked they lived there in stead of just staying there temporary they made a serious mess of the room. The location was very good.

Recommended by Lonely Planet (ed. 2009). Managed by travelers and made for travelers. In walking distance from CITY CENTER, Red Square, Arbat and other main attractions. All rooms were renovated in 2009.

Our hostel is nestled in the historic center, perfectly situated near the Old Arbat Street and within walking distance to Red Square, Kremlin. We are located in a really safe area and on a small street with only 3 embassies!
In a renovated building, there is the first floor with comfortable rooms waiting for you. There are double, twins and super twins, and, of course, dormitory rooms excellent designed. We have a great common room with terrace, TV, Internet and comfortable kitchen, where you can serve yourself tea or coffee any time.
Young and friendly, multi-lingual speaks staff and information desk will help you to discover Moscow.

All in all very good hostel! Very friendly and easy! They help you whenever you need help.
Maybe one point is to mention: There are no opportunities to lock your valuables in the rooms.

I can just recommend this place. We were totally surprised how clean and new everything was. That hostel also provides free internet... so have fun and enjoy your time in Russia and in the moscow home hostel

From Sheremetyevo International Airport, terminal 2 you can reach the metro station Rechnoy Vokzal by bus 51c.
From Domodedovo International Airport you can reach the metro station Domodedovskaya by bus and it will take you 30 minutes, or you can go by train to the metro station Paveletskaya and it will take you 1 hour.
Then you go to the metro station Park Kultury. There you go along the street Zubovsky Boulevard, on the crossing with Burdenko Street you must turn to the left and walk 50 metres, second turn to the right will be yours and the first building you'll see will be our hostel.
Or you can reach us from the Smolenskaya metro station. There you must go along the street Smolensky Boulevard in direction of Zubovskaya Square, then turn to the right to the 1st Neopalimovsky pereulok, second turn to the left will be yours.
