About Top Floor Moscow

TopFloor is perfectly located in the heart of Moscow. Our beautiful balcony overlooks the Chekov theatr and the Mayakovskaya square. Our Guesthouse is spacious and cosy. The rooms are clean and western standard. We provide a warm place in Moscow so that you can feel relaxed when here, we will help you out with maps, directions and serve you up fresh coffee or tea in the morning.

Our Guesthouse is not a hostel. We are smaller and have more space and less beds, so you will feel more comfortable and relaxed. We have aircondition, which is a must in the summer as Moscow gets really hot. We have hot water all year around, also a must as they turn off the water in Moscow during one month every summer. Our Guesthouse is safe - nicely decorated and has all the facilities you can expect, internet, WiFi, washing machine. Our shower has music in it and even a telephone :)

TopFloor is Western managed; we speak over 10 languages - most likely yours. English - Russian - French - Italian - German - Swedish - Danish - Norwegian, even Thai :)

We can arrange guides for you, inexpensive taxis. We can serve you up traditional Russian food for you to enjoy. Everything - that's convenient and easy for you. Moscow is a big city, having a nice place to go back to and helpful staff can really make or break your visit to Moscow.

We know the historical sites; we know restaurants and the night life and are happy to share our experience and knowledge with you.

What makes us different from the other choices in Moscow?

Our balcony is over 20 meters long, its a great meeting point for our travellers. Enjoy a panoramic view of Moscow and its grandness.

We are 50 meters away from the Chekov Theatr and the Akvarium which boast 5 other world class performances.

We have a lovely Italian Pizzeria in the same building, super good prices and fantastic menu.

There is a 24hour money exchange place in the same building.

If you need a pharmacy, its in the next door building.

You need to use our computer, print out things for free.

Free coffee and tea (no powder coffee, fresh and new)

You want to meet interesting people when you travel - we have long links with the cultural centres and frequently have performance artists staying with us. Journalists and Conferance people.

Our address is Bolshaya Sadovaya Street, house 3, apt. 135, metro station Mayakovskaya (green line)

Direction from Mayakovskaya metro: there is only one exit

- When you're out of the metro you're on 1-st Tverskaya Yamskaya street, you should turn left, walk about 50 meters, then cross the street using the underpass which goes under the street and go straight.
- You can see the hotel Pekinh in front of you (large building with a tower), you walk straight about 100 meters more, after the italian pizzeria you turn right into the arch way.
- Then right again, at the end of the court yard you find our door. Press number 135 on the telephone.

1. From Sheremetyevo (SVO) airport:

By metro: take a bus 851 from airport, it will deliver you to metro station Rechnoy Vokzal – it's top green line station, then take metro to station Mayakovskaya (it will take you about 15 minutes)

2. From Domodedovo airport

a) you can take express train from Domodedovo to metro Paveletskaya. It goes every 30 minutes during the day, ticket price is 120 rubles for adult, time in the way is about 45 minutes, then you take green line metro to Mayakovskaya (about 10 minutes).

b) you can take bus from airport to metro Domodedovskaya, it goes every 35 minutes or less if there are lot's of people, price is 40 rubles. Domodedovskaya metro station is on green line, so you just take a train to Mayakovskaya station (about 30 minutes).
