The location of Rucksack was really good for me but it was a little bit small that I had expected inside. Everything was fine but cold and noisy during sleep.

We have Moved to a bigger place, better location!

Finally! A backpackers' hotel by backpackers! Rucksack is conceptualized by a group of backpackers who wanted something on top of the range and yet at very friendly rates! What can we say? Life is demanding and we want the comfort and we want it at a really affordable price, and I mean really affordable!

We are located in the heart of the city within walking distance to Clarke Quay and Boat Quay - the most talked about night spot in Singapore. You can find lots of restaurants, shops, a mall, amenities and most importantly, the MRT (tube) is all within 5 mins from Rucksack.

When you enter Rucksack Inn, it will feel just like home. We're cosy, clean and comfortable and you may just not wanna leave!

So check in with us. We're delighted to have you at our home.

Terms & Conditions:

•All rates are inclusive of taxes

•Check in time: 1400hrs

•Check out time: 1200hrs

•Our reception runs 24hourly, so if you have an early flight, you may check in early and use our facilities or you can leave your bags with us whilst you head out to explore the city.

•Likewise, if you have a late flight or bus to catch on the day of your checkout, you may leave your bags with us at no additional cost.

Cancellation/No Show Policy

•We would be grateful if you could inform us at least 48hours in advance should you decide to cancel or make any changes to your booking, otherwise the first night's charge is applicable.

•We will keep the room/bed for you for 3 hours from the stated time of arrival. After which it will be released for booking. If there is a delay in your itinerary, we would appreciate if you could let us know through phone or email.

We are newly renovated and touted as the 5 star luxury backpacker's hostel. We believe in round the clock service, so you can be assured of 24hr reception, free internet wifi, security key card access, Wii and Playstation 2 are also available. Most importantly, we believe in tip top cleaniness so rest assured you will have clean and dry bathrooms at all times.

Directions

If you're coming from Changi International Airport and intend to take the train, follow these 5 simple steps:

Step 1: Proceed to Changi Airport MRT and take the East West line heading towards Tanah Merah.

Step 2: Alight at Tanah Merah MRT. Proceed towards platform B (East West line) and board train going towards Joo Koon MRT.

Step 3: Alight at Outram MRT and board the Northeast line towards Punggol MRT.

Step 4: And finally alight at Clarke Quay MRT.

Step 5: At the station lookout for EXIT E and you will see Central Mall. Cross the overhead bridge and turn right at the end of the stairs and walk in the same direction as the flow of traffic. In 200m you will see Hongkong Street. Look out for the Yellow Building. We are on the 3rd floor.

Alternatively, you can hop in the cab and tell the cab driver 33-B Hong Kong street and you should be at our doorstep within 20 minutes during the off peak hour!
