About Rucksack Inn
We are located in the heart of the city within walking distance to Clarke Quay and Boat Quay - the most talked about night spot in Singapore. You can find lots of restaurants, shops, a mall, amenities and most importantly, the MRT (tube) is all within 5 mins from Rucksack.
When you enter Rucksack Inn, it will feel just like home. We're cosy, clean and comfortable and you may just not wanna leave!

Our reception runs 24hourly, so if you have an early flight, you may check in early and use our facilities or you can leave your bags with us whilst you head out to explore the city.
Likewise, if you have a late flight or bus to catch on the day of your checkout, you may leave your bags with us at no additional cost.
*To upkeep the environment of a backpackers hostel, we do have a policy of no children under the age of 12 .
* Due to our limited capacity at our Inn, we do not take in Locals and Singapore Permanent Residents.
Cancellation/No Show Policy
We would be grateful if you could inform us at least 48hours in advance should you decide to cancel or make any changes to your booking, otherwise the first night's charge is applicable.
We will keep the room/bed for you for 3 hours from the stated time of arrival. After which it will be released for booking. If there is a delay in your itinerary, we would appreciate if you could let us know through phone or email.

We are newly renovated and touted as the 5 star luxury backpacker's hostel. We believe in round the clock service, so you can be assured of 24hr reception, free internet wifi, security key card access, Wii and Playstation 2 are also available. Most importantly, we believe in tip top cleaniness so rest assured you will have clean and dry bathrooms at all times.

IT IS GOOD FOR ECONOMIC TRIP , GREAT LOCATION BUT THERE ARE NO WINDOW FOR SOME ROOM AND A LITTLE BIT NOISY AROUND. OVERALL, GOOD PLACE TO CHOOSE !
Brilliant place to stay, everything you want here! The staff are extremely friendly, and it's very easy to meet fellow backpackers. Only had one bad night's sleep where the local builder's were up until 6am doing loud work! But the owners contacted the authorities and it was resolved the next day. Also, the main dorm is a 28 bed guest room. Personally i thought it was great, but if you don't like snorers, be prepared! There is always one.. But overall brilliant place, would recommend it!
This was my first time staying in a real hostel with bunk beds. It was a pleasurable experience and I definitely recommend this place
It is right across the street from Clarke Quay (which was really good especially since I was drinking and hitting up the clubs in that area each night). It's pretty central and if you don't mind walking you can even go without the MRT unless you're going to the night safari and the airport. They give each person their own access card so there is no curfew and you can come and go as you please. The place itself is pretty modern and well kept. In the morning when I was getting ready, I would see one of the workers come in and change the bed sheets. The washrooms were very nice, a definite plus. They have lights out at 10:30pm so just be sure to have a small flashlight to maneuver around the room at night. They also light this nice incense at night time. Just a little extra touch that I enjoyed

It's terrific is what I wanna talk about Rucksack Inn. it's a very highly recommended destination for backpackers like us who need a warming, comfortable stay with reasonable price. What I received at Rucksack was over my expectation and for sure that I will be back someday.

I booked 6 of us to stay at Rucksack Inn with short notice for 2 nights.
The place is brilliant. The staff are so friendly and extemely helpful. There's free internet/wifi. They have bread/butter/jam/peanut butter available throughout the day that you can help yourself to.
Would definitely recommend. We were told that thy are also expanding in the near future to another floor so space and facilities will be even better

The location of Rucksack was really good for me but it was a little bit small that I had expected inside. Everything was fine but cold and noisy during sleep.
